References to affiliated services include platforms or services operated by Pet Media, Inc. (including NextDayPets.com, PetPay.com, and Pawrade.com), its subsidiaries, legally affiliated entities, contracted licensees, and trusted third-party service providers, including those offering AI-based scoring, research, public health, or transparency services. These affiliated services may operate under separate brands and retain independent responsibility for how they use data accessed or licensed from Pet Media, Inc.
 

By submitting records in any form, I confirm that I have the right and authority to share such data, including but not limited to animal-related records, transaction history, or health documentation. All data provided—whether historical or newly submitted - may be made available to prospective customers and platform users to support informed decisions, promote responsible placements, and reduce risks. This includes the use of such data in analytics and scoring models designed to inform and empower consumers.
 

It is a fundamental and longstanding operational principle of our platform that all historical user-submitted data, including information related to past transactions, breeder practices, and animal health records, is continuously analyzed for comprehensive risk assessment and the ongoing promotion of animal welfare. This means that every listing and transaction, whether now or in the future, benefits from and contributes to our extensive dataset, allowing us to identify health status, observe trends, refine risk assessments, and develop indicators for responsible breeding practices, including the identification of potentially illegitimate breeding activities. This continuous analysis is essential for maintaining platform integrity, enhancing consumer protection, and supporting informed decision-making across the companion animal industry.
 

I understand and agree that the data I submit may be reviewed, analyzed, scored, aggregated, attributed, and displayed by Pet Media, Inc., including its affiliated services. This explicitly includes the ability to perform granular individual matching and reporting, allowing for the display of transparency scores and health metrics attributed to my account, my business, specific animals, litters, parentage, or transactions on platforms designed for consumer transparency. Submitted information may be visible to platform users and retained indefinitely, including after account inactivity or termination. When data is shared with external, unaffiliated trusted partners (like insurers or EMR providers for licensing purposes), this data is typically provided in aggregated, anonymized, or pseudonymized forms to protect privacy. However, for specific purposes like underwriting a particular pet's insurance policy or integrating with individual veterinary EMRs for comprehensive care, more granular, attributed (but never sold) data may be shared under strict contractual agreements that define its limited use.
 

The types of user-submitted records governed by this policy include, but are not limited to: veterinary reports, vaccination and deworming records, microchip identification numbers, DNA test results, nutrition and feeding information, and post-sale updates. These records may be used to:
 

• Help prospective users make informed decisions

• Link information to specific users, sellers, buyers, animals, litters, or transactions

• Display health timelines, condition tags, or transparency metrics to platform users

• Support trends and insights by user, breed, seller, region, or condition type

• Categorize and score data (e.g., condition rates, completeness, timing)

• Retain data for outcome tracking, dispute resolution, or platform reliability scoring

• Enhance platform tools such as matching, alerts, or vet-readiness guidance

 

This policy also covers communications submitted through or facilitated by the platform or its affiliated services, including buyer/seller messages, call recordings, text messages, and post-sale updates. These communications may be retained, analyzed, scored, or attributed to assess transparency, detect patterns of noncompliance, or assist in dispute resolution. Users are responsible for ensuring the accuracy and appropriateness of any communications shared.

As governed by Section 11 of our Terms of Use, I grant Pet Media, Inc., including its affiliated services, a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, irrevocable license to store, use, reproduce, analyze, score, aggregate, and display submitted data. This includes user-attributed or anonymized formats, user-facing reports, downloadable content, transparency metrics, and profile-based or analytical displays. This license survives any termination of platform use.

All data submitted through your Pet Media, Inc. account, including both historical and future records, is subject to this policy. Continued use of the platform affirms your ongoing agreement to these terms, including their application to all prior and future submissions.

Pet Media, Inc., including its affiliated services, does not guarantee deletion of previously submitted data and reserves the right to retain and use such data indefinitely, even after account closure or departure, in accordance with platform policies.

Pet Media, Inc., including its affiliated services, reserves the right—but not the obligation—to audit or verify submitted data for accuracy or compliance with platform terms. I acknowledge that I am solely responsible for the accuracy and authenticity of all data I provide and understand that submitted information may be visible to platform users as part of Pet Media, Inc.'s transparency standards.
